Link & Midna

by Legend

So back in the “Super Two Years,” I worked on a sprite comic about the video game series The Legend of Zelda. A sprite comic a comic made up of sprites, which are described by Wikipedia as “in computer graphics, a sprite is a two-dimensional image or animation that is integrated into a larger scene.” Basically, I used sprites of Zelda characters to create a story. Later on, the story expanded into Mario and other crazy characters, but still kept true to the title.

Now you get to see the old comic. Beware of silliness.

Achievement Get

by Legend

There! It’s a post! I even made a nifty image using this for it!

This is one of those “Hey, doing fine, working on this, will do this soon, blah blah blah” posts.

Interesting Music and More Manga

by Legend

A little while ago a friend referred to me two Vocaloid songs that had quite the tune to them, and today I will be sharing them. Before I do, however, I just wanted to note that I’ve finally reserved, borrowed, and read all but the last volume of the Shugo Chara! manga. Frankly, I loved it to bits, and once I’ve finally read the last volume I will watch the anime adaption.

And now, on to the show!

Deleting

by Legend

Lately I’ve been going back into the archives and deleting all those posts from Super Two that have no relevance to Starfish Festival. I’ve been keeping the creative projects, like sprite comics, videos, and the like, but weeeird posts like this were deleted.

If you really, really, really want to see those old posts, you can still read them on the original Super Two website. Just click here.

I’m probably going to delete the creative projects, too, but re-release them in a more efficient way so they’ll still exist on the site anyways. Expect some strange moving around in the old posts.

Shugo Chara!

by Legend

Yesterday we (we as in me and my family) stopped by a local library that was in renovation. We hadn’t seen the revamped library since before it was renovated, so coming into the new and improved building was refreshing. I don’t have pictures of the library, but it was a lot more spacious and organized then the cramped building it used to be.

As soon as I entered, I was first thinking, “Why are we at the library?” Suddenly my tired brain remembered, I love the library! Hop inside for details of my visit to the shrine of books.

Hatsune Miku

by Legend

I listen to lots of different types music (my favourite band is Evanescence, go google it if you want). Some of the music I like is from Hatsune Miku.

So who is she? Well first of all, her name over here in the west is Miku Hatsune, because name order is opposite in Japan (note that I already use Western order for names when I write of anime and manga).

Farm Blocks: Pickaxe Recipe (Video)

by Legend

So I’ve finally gotten out of my laziness and worked on getting a screen capture video of Farm Blocks. In the video, I add the pickaxe to the crafting recipe book.

If you want you can skip to the end of the video, because that’s when I test my handiwork.

Operation Moonfall

by Legend

I’m not sure if I’ve made it clear before, but my favourite video game ever is The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. It’s a sequel to another popular video game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Time recently got a Nintendo 3DS remake, and now, it is possible for Majora’s Mask to get a 3DS remake as well!

Click “read more” to learn how. UPDATED. Read below.

Ranting About Pokémon

by Legend

I both like and hate the video game franchise known as Pokémon. It’s a bitter-sweet playing experience for me. Some things in Pokémon I can tolerate, but other things drive me into a ranting fit.

Today I will be ranting about odd things in Pokémon, and also things I dislike about them. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Pokémon fan, but I’m one of those Pokémon fans who rant. A lot.

WARNING: I am ranting. Don’t expect a constructive “review”.

Click “read more” for my thoughts.

Clannad – Anime Review

by Legend

Have you ever heard of the anime Clannad? I had an article about it previously, and now I’ve finished watching it (not including the two bonus episodes, I still need to see those). It has been little over a week, and now that I’ve had time to mull over the plot and such, I can finally write my review (my first review EVA!)

Keep in mind this review will be on the Dub, which is the anime with English voice actors, not the Sub, which is the original Japanese anime with subtitles. The two are slightly varying in terms of the lines for the characters.

Also, be forewarned that this review will include major spoilers. I will be spoiling the entire plot of Clannad, so make sure you understand this before clicking, “read more”.
